Bird monitors at Northwestern University found dozens of dead/injured birds at their Kellogg School of Management Global Hub last May. Since then they have been taking the steps to make their building more “bird-friendly” by testing out line-patterned Solyx film windows and dot-patterned film in hopes to lessen these deadly collisions.
Sadly, this happens all over the world. Birds frequently collide with windows and it often results in death or extreme injury. You can prevent this by recognizing the windows in your home that birds often collide with, and then purchasing the correct decals for your windows.
