Recycle your Clothes

Recycle your Clothes

According to a study conducted in April 2013, only about 15% of clothing in the United States gets recycled or donated. The average American throws away 70 pounds of clothing a year. Trash impacts birds’ livelihood as well as our own. Instead of throwing away your old clothes, take them to a donation center or recycle them. Help save the environment one shirt at a time. Before you buy clothes, think about if you really need them. Better yet, check out your nearest thrift store before you buy new.
